The Emporia State basketball teams are returning to Emporia to beging preparing for the rest of the season.
The 23rd ranked Lady Hornets return to action Sunday when they host Baker, which is ranked 23rd in the NAIA national rankings. The Lady Hornets took a 9-2 record into the Christmas break. Coach Toby Wynn says it has been a good start but there are some areas that do need to improve.
The Emporia State men next play at Northwestern Oklahoma State Sunday. The Hornets took a 6-4 record into the break. Coach Craig Doty says the seniors will need to lead the way.
Both teams resume MIAA play January 5th when they host Washburn.
