A day after closing for the second time this month, the Lee Beran Recreation Center’s indoor pool is now open again.
The pool was closed for most of Wednesday after a water line broke. The water has been called “cold” by the Emporia Recreation Commission.
Earlier this month, the pool had to close for 10 days after a filtration issue developed. That was replaced at a cost of around $16,000.
