Number 1 ranked Kansas suffered their first loss of the season Saturday night, Arizona State out scored the Jayhawks 80-76.
Arizona State took the lead with 2:23 to play in the game. Kansas would lead by 12 in the first half and would hold the lead until the 2:23 mark. Lagerald Vick hit a 3 point basket with 4:58 to play giving the Jayhawks a 7 point lead. Kansas was would make only 4 freethrows the rest of the game and were out scored 15-4. Dedric Lawson scored a game high 30 points and had a game high 14 rebounds. Lagerald Vick added 14 points and Devon Dotson finished with 12 points. The Jayhawks are now 10-1 for the season, they return to action next Saturday when they host Eastern Michigan.
