Court proceedings continue against two defendants in a drug distribution case announced in September after hearings Wednesday.
Seanna Herron is now set for trial Jan. 25 after a pretrial hearing. Herron faces charges of drug distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a felon and other counts.
Meanwhile, Amanda Alvarado’s motion to suppress certain evidence was taken under advisement as part of a separate hearing. Alvarado wants a search warrant and all related evidence withheld. There is no word on when Judge Jeff Larson will issue a ruling in her case. She’s charged with distributing stimulants, child endangerment and other counts. As it stands, potential trial dates in Alvarado’s case are Jan. 7, Feb. 4 or Feb. 29.
