Lyon County deputies say a vehicle fire that developed Saturday near Olpe is being investigated as an arson case.
Deputy Sgt. Danny Broyles says the fire was reported in the 1700 block of Road 60 around 12:30 pm. When deputies and firefighters from Olpe and Emporia arrived, they found a 2001 Ford Focus with fire coming out of the trunk and rear passenger parts of the car. Nobody was inside and nobody was near the car when it was found.
