With mixed emotions, incoming provider Tammy Patterson says she’s grateful for the opportunity to begin at Newman Regional Health next month — but she’s also wistful about closing down her practice in Osage City.
Patterson, an APRN, tells KVOE News it was a tough choice to close down Osage Family Care next month.
Originally, Osage Family Care was a satellite clinic of Newman Regional Health. However, Patterson has been an independent provider the last few years.
Patterson says she put together a pro-con list with the underlying goal of doing what’s best for her family, and that’s how she decided to join Newman Regional Health Family Medicine and Pediatric Clinics.
Osage Family Care closes Jan. 11, with Patterson beginning in Emporia on Jan. 14.
