The Flint Hills Optimists’ annual Christmas tree lot fundraiser continues at the Guion’s Showcase parking lot.
Event spokesman Bob Burenheide says there is still a decent selection of tree left in case you need one.
Burenheide says the initial selection of Scotch pines are gone and there may be a handful of white pines left. There are a few wreaths left at last word.
The lot remains open until further notice. Hours are 5:30-8 pm Monday through Friday, 10 am to 8 pm Saturday and 1-6 pm Sunday. All proceeds benefit the club’s work for area youth, including partnerships with Camp Alexander, the David Traylor Zoo and Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Serving Lyon County.
