As criminal proceedings begin against an Oklahoma woman accused of leaving her grandson at a Greenwood County rest area late last month, at least one donation effort has started for the juvenile.
The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office says it has received numerous requests for a place to send donations, and on Wednesday it announced a location. People can either send or deliver items to:

All donations should be marked with the words “Greenwood County Juvenile.”
Numerous items are being requested, including large and extra-large shirts, 38×34 pants, a pillow, a winter coat, hat and gloves, underwear, socks and size 10.5 wide shoes. The full list:

The nonverbal autistic teenager was left at the US Highway 400 rest area near Beaumont possibly Nov. 28. He was discovered before sunrise Nov. 29 without money, medication or food. He is in protective custody at last word.
Janie Gill, 69, was being held in Rogers County, Okla., on suspicion of child neglect at last word. Extradition to Kansas is likely on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment and interference with law enforcement.
