USD 252 Southern Lyon County held its monthly board of education meeting on Wednesday evening at the Olpe High School.
Schools have been seeing major renovations, with the focus now on Olpe Jr./Sr. High School. There will be a centralized office area that will bring all services into a single area. Superintendent Dr. Michael Argabright gives light to the other additions.
Similar renovations are nearly completed at Hartford and Neosho Rapids.
Also on the agenda was the annual updates to the crisis plan. The updates are determined by emergency responders and staff and board members to ensure the best crisis intervention plan for everyone. Argabright says this was a review discussion.
Dr. Argabright expresses his gratitude towards the district and those involved and wishes all a Merry Christmas. The next board meeting will be held on Jan. 9th at 7:00 pm.
