A potential budget amendment is in front of Lyon County commissioners as they gear up for their weekly action meeting tomorrow.
A public hearing will take place at 10 am before commissioners decide whether to vote on an amendment. The board has already republished the Road and Bridge and Noxious Weed department budgets to give department heads more budget authority for the rest of the fiscal year.
In addition, the county will discuss a potential $13,000 payment for the annual inspection of fire alarm systems. Commissioners will also have the annual employee recognition ceremony. Six executive sessions are planned.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse.
