The Olpe Eagles and Lady Eagles collected back to back wins Tuesday in Madison.
In the girls half of action the Lady Eagles would overcome a slow start in the first half to defeat the Lady Bulldogs 56-16.
Olpe would jump out to a quick 12-0 lead before the Lady Bulldogs would manage to pull within two at the end of the first quarter. Olpe would then hold Madison to just two points in the second quarter carrying a 35-12 lead into the locker room.
The second half would see more of the same as Olpe would seal the win 56-16. Senior Carrie Sleezer was the lone Lady Eagle in double digits as she led her team in scoring with 17 points.
Olpe girls coach Jesse Nelson says he would have liked to see a better start from his players.
Madison was led in scoring by freshman Reese Farrow with six points.
With the win the Lady Eagles now improve to 3-0 on the season as the Lady Bulldogs fall to 1-4.
On the boys side of the double header Olpe would jump out to an early lead and never look back as they picked up a 50-23 win over the Madison Bulldogs.
Turnovers plagued Madison as they gave up the ball 16 times. Coupled with the outstanding play of senior Camden Hoelting Olpe would limit Madison to just 34 percent from the field.

Olpe head coach Chris Schmidt says the defensive intensity set the tone.
