Wichita State held on for a 71-63 win over Baylor Saturday. The Shockers led 43-9 in the first half and 44-15 at halftime. In the second half Baylor out scored Wichita State 48-27.
Samajae Haynes-Jones led the Shockers with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Erik Stevenson added 18 points and Markis McDuffie scored 15 points. With the win Wichita State improves to 4-3 for the season. They will play Oklahoma next Saturday.
