The Emporia High wrestling team opens their season Saturday with a duel tournament at Arkansas City. The Spartans will join Ark City, Maize, Kapaun Mt. Carmel, Wichita South, Winfield and Newkirk, Oklahoma.
Senior Anthony Delgado says he is looking forward to the season.

Delgado is one of 2 state placers that return, Levi Buckridge placed 4th last year. 3 other state qualifiers also return.
