Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive end Chris Jones was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for November after tallying a league-leading 5.0 sacks in three November games. His six tackles-for-loss matched the league-lead, and Jones’ also had three passes defended.
This marks the second consecutive month that a member of the Chiefs has earned AFC Defensive Player of the Month honors, as linebacker Dee Ford took home the award in October.
The Chiefs returned to practice Wednesday after the bye week. Eric Barry participated in practice for the first time since August 11th. Coach Andy Reid say they would take it slow.
Center Mitch Morse also returned to practice. Sammy Watkins was the lone player to miss practice. The Chiefs play the Raiders in Oakland on Sunday.
