The Emporia State mens basketball team rolled to a 127-81 win over Bethel Saturday. That sets a new school record for most points scored in a game.
Hassan Thomas led the way with a career high 30 points.
5 other Hornets scored in doublefigures, Julius Jackson scored 21,
Kooper Glick added 18 points, Sawyer Glick finished with 15. Malik Hluchoweckyj and Grant Shell both scored 14 points. As a team the Hornets made 21 three point shots. Coach Craig Doty was pleased with the way they took care of business.
With the win the Emporia State men are now 3-2 for the season. They will host Rogers State next Saturday.
