If you are still looking for that perfect Christmas tree, the Flint Hills Optimist Club has the answer.
The annual Christmas Tree Lot is now up and running as of Friday morning. This is the largest fundraiser each year for the club with all proceeds going to benefit area youth through a variety of programs.

The lot has a wide selection of trees to choose from, roughly 500 hundred to be exact. They include Scotch Pine, White Pine, Fraser Fir and Canadian Balsam.
The trees range in size from 3 to 9 ft and in price from 26-$90.
The lot is located in the parking lot of Guion’s Showcase in Emporia at 2023 W. Sixth Ave. The tree lot will be open Today (Fri) until 8 p.m.
Hours of operation for the tree lot are as follows:
Mon-Fri: 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Sat: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sun: 1 p.m. – 6p.m.
