Church of Christ feeds the masses with annual Thanksgiving meal

Food and fellowship filled plates at the Emporia Church of Christ for the church’s annual free Thanksgiving meal for the community.

The holiday meal has been a labor of love for nearly three decades now, and Pastor Neil Taylor says it’s part of the church’s mission of service.

The congregation filled the church’s reception hall with over 30 turkeys, 10 hams and all the side dishes.

Church members were busy at the reception hall with over 300 meals served, they were also busy driving across town with around 450 meal deliveries.
