One person suffered minor injuries after a wreck east of Emporia on Sunday evening.
Authorities were toned out initially to the intersection of Roads 170 and R-1 shortly before 8 pm for a reported pickup rollover. Deputy Justin Carr says the driver, currently unnamed, said he was actually westbound on Road 167 and approaching Road R when a deer crossed the road. The driver took evasive action but overturned the truck in the process.
The driver declined a hospital trip afterward.
