On Thursday, KVOE will hold its annual radio auction to benefit the National Teachers Hall of Fame.
It’s a big night for the station, and it’s a big night for the Hall of Fame, which uses the money to fund its signature induction events every year. Director Carol Strickland explains:
Auction lists are online now on KVOE.com and the Teachers Hall of Fame’s Facebook page.
The auction starts just after 6 pm. The broadcast will originate from the Emporia State Federal Credit Union’s west branch at 24th and Industrial. You can catch all the items and the bidding on 14 KVOE, 96.9 FM, KVOE-TV at KVOE.com. The City of Emporia has informed KVOE that they are having issues with their city tv access computers. Due to the problem the auction will not be seen on Valu Net Channel 4 or Cable One Channel 56 tonight.
