International Education Week is underway at Emporia State University.
The week gives students from around the world a chance to show different aspects of their cultures to the campus community and to the city of Emporia as a whole.
Wednesday’s schedule features the first of the two-day presentation “Explore the World at ESU” from 11 am to 2 pm at the Memorial Union Center for Student Involvement. That’s followed by “America Through the Eyes of International Students” from 1-3 pm at the Memorial Union Greek Room and an intercultural skills workshop for faculty and staff from 3-4 pm at the Memorial Union Preston Family Room.
Thursday’s features the second “Explore the World at ESU” Presentation, followed by “Ask Me Why, Don’t Be Shy,” a cultural Q&A session from 7-9 pm at the Memorial Union Greek Room.
On Friday, the International Culture Show takes place from 7-9 pm at Albert Taylor Hall.
Activities move off campus Saturday for “Share Your Story: Exploring Cultural Biases” from 1-2 pm at the Lyon County History Center.
