Kansas State opened their season with a 56-41 win over Kennesaw State Friday night.
The Wildcats held Kennesaw State to 14 second half points after leading 31-27 at halftime. Dean Wade and Barry Brown led Kansas State in scoring with 15 points each. Makol Mawien finished with 13 points. The Wildcats will host Denver on Monday.
