The Emporia State volleyball team opens MIAA tournament play at Washburn Tuesday night.
Washburn won the two regular season meetings. Emporia State is coming off of wins over Pittsburg State and Central Oklahoma. Junior Taylor Otting says they need to play with that same mentality.
The winner advances to play either Central Oklahoma or Lindenwood in the semi-finals on Friday.
The other first round matches have #1 seed Nebraska Kearney hosting Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri State hosting Central Missouri.
