Construction projects remain on track as Newman Regional Health brings urgent care and emergency care services into one area in the coming months.
Following Wednesday’s Board of Trustees meeting, board chair Mike Argabright said the ongoing construction and renovation projects are good changes for the hospital and its patrons.
Construction of the new emergency department is on track for completion near the end of the year. The new building essentially triples the space of the current emergency department and offers double the room number with state-of-the-art amenities.
Renovations also continue in the drug compounding area specifically and work also continues to move ExpressCare from Flinthills Mall to the current emergency department site.
