The Madison Bulldogs were outscored 24-6 in the second half, on their way to a 30-26 loss in the regional round of the 8-man Division I playoffs.
Madison led 20-6 at halftime, but an interception and three fumbles in the second half gave Solomon too many opportunities. Solomon outgained Madison 321 to 245 yards – 246 to 45 in the second.
Madison head coach Alex McMillan says despite a good start they couldn’t bounce back from their mistakes.
Despite the loss, McMillan says the improvement from last year was phenomenal.
Madison ends the season with a 9-1 record.
