The Emporia State soccer team has been eliminated from the MIAA post season tournament. The Lady Hornets were defeated by Central Missouri 7-1.
Central Missouri led 5-0 at halftime. The lone goal for Emporia State was on a Penalty kick by Makayla Brady. Emporia State was out shot 12-3 on goal.
Central Missouri will play either Central Oklahoma or Fort Hays State in the MIAA Tournament championship match on Sunday.
The Lady Hornets now await a NCAA regional tournament at large bid. They are ranked 5th in this weeks regional rankings. The top 8 teams advance to the regional tournament.
