Just as the temperatures begin to drop, the Emporia Senior Center installed a much needed heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
Two roof-top units were installed yesterday. Executive Director Ian Boyd was happy to see this accomplishment as it has been needed for some time.
The installation comes as the Senior Center’s annual members’ meeting is taking place next Friday at 9:00am. Boyd explains the agenda for the meeting.
Soon after, the annual directors’ meeting will take place on Jan. 10 at 9:00am.
