Two members of the Emporia State soccer team have received MIAA weekly honors.
Ashlyn Lakin was selected as the Defensive Athlete of the Week. ESU’s Jillian Patton was named the Goalie of the Week.
The Lady Hornets moved up to 4th in the regional rankings.
Bemidji State is first followed by Central Oklahoma, Minnesota State. Central Missouri is ranked 5th.
The Lady Hornets are also receiving votes in the National Coaches poll. Central Oklahoma is the only MIAA team ranked. They are ranked 13th.
Grand Valley State is the number 1 ranked team.
