Up and coming country music artists Farewell Angelina entertained Emporians Friday night at the Granada Theatre as part of the EAC Performing Arts Series.
The Nashville based all-female grouped named after the famous Bob Dylan song, blends creative songwriting with powerful vocals and a healthy dash of sass for an unforgettable musical experience.
The band has opened for multiple stars including the likes of Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Frankie Ballard, Jake Owen, Billy Currington, Maroon 5, and Trace Adkins, just to name a few. The band has also been named as one of Rolling Stone’s “New Artists to Watch” and won the fan-voted “Hot Seat” spot of the 2017 Taste of Country “Risers” program.
Their new EP Women and Wine is set to be released in January 2019.
Up next for the Performing Arts Series is former America’s Got Talent contestants iLuminate on February 18, 2019, at Albert Taylor Hall.
