Bridge raising continues on the Kansas Turnpike northeast of Emporia.
Several bridges are currently being raised. In fact, the bridge at Roads 380 and X is open near Turnpike milepost 152 and the bridge on Road V-6 between Roads 350 and 360, or near Turnpike mile marker 148, opened Wednesday.
The bridge at Turnpike milepost 144, or at Road 320, should open up by mid-November. Crews just closed the bridge at Road 370 or near Turnpike milepost 151. That bridge could re-open by December.
