Minor injuries were reported after a crash on the southern side of the US Highway 50 roundabout Wednesday evening.
The crash involved a semi and an SUV and happened around 6:20 pm. Police Officer Pablo Delgadillo says the semi was circling the roundabout at slow speed and the SUV rear-ended the larger vehicle.
The SUV driver was checked by medical staff at the crash site and decided against going to the hospital afterward. The semi driver was not hurt.
Names have not been released and officers are still determining why the SUV hit the semi. Additional information may be released Thursday.
