The Emporia State soccer team out scored Central Missouri 3-1 Sunday.
Central scored the first goal 33 seconds into the match. Emporia State tied the match on a goal by Jacki Martinek in the 16th minute of play.
The Lady Hornets took the lead on a goal by Kennedy Hoffman in the 18th minute of play. They would add an insurance goal by Hoffman in the 56th minute of play.
The Lady Hornets are now 11-4-1 for the season and 6-3 in MIAA play. They are undefeated at home. They close out the regular season on the road with matches at Washburn Friday and at Nebraska Kearney Sunday.
