Lyon County’s flood-damaged roads are all opened.
The Lyon County Highway Department reopened the following roads Friday:
*Road 100 from L to M
*Road 145 from G to H
*Road 180 from S to T
*Road 137 from S to T
These roads were the last ones left to fix after flooding basically all last week along the Cottonwood and Neosho rivers following as much as 16 inches of rain earlier in the month.
The Highway Department has clarified the situation on Road 137, which was initially listed as closed due to a bridge out. That was actually closed due to a culvert needing repairs, and those repairs have been made.
