Lyon County commissioners have their weekly action meeting Thursday, and they have several items of note for their meeting.
Commissioners will consider signing an agreement with the Kansas Department of Transportation on a local road safety plan. As part of that, they will decide whether to pay up to $5,000 to participate.
In addition, Melissa Smith and Jen Millbern will present the quarterly report for the Flint Hills Community Health Center. Bruce Boettcher of BG Consultants will also have an update on water line work for Rural Water District No. 1 from Americus to Bushong, with that update possibly including the work to install a new water tower in Bushong.
Commissioner and staff reports are planned along with five executive sessions, three for legal matters and two for non-elected personnel.
The meeting starts at 8 am Thursday in the Lyon County Courthouse.
