Lyon County roads affected by flooding earlier this month are almost all driveable now.
Emergency Management Director Jarrod Fell says just four roads remain closed after last week’s floods:
*Road 100 from L to M
*Road 145 from G to H
*Road 137 from S to T
Those three roads may well re-open soon. The story is different on Road 180 from S to T, where a bridge is washed out. No timetable has been announced for replacing that bridge.
Area residents received anywhere from 10-16 inches of rain from Oct. 3-9. The Cottonwood and Neosho Rivers in Lyon County were out of their banks just about all last week.
