Paving projects continue on the Kansas Turnpike near Emporia.
The northbound outside lane is closed at mile marker 143, 16 miles north of Emporia, as part of a bridge deck repair. That work could continue until Saturday.
There are two projects underway southwest of Emporia. Bridge repairs are taking place through Thursday at mile marker 100, 27 miles southwest of Emporia. This affects the northbound outside lane.
Separately, there is a pavement striping project underway Tuesday between mile markers 96 and 113, or from near the Matfield Green service exit and the Flint Hills cattle pens exit. There will be rolling lane closures in both directions as this project continues.
