Kapaun Mt. Carmel out scored the Emporia High boys soccer team 2-1 Monday night.
Kapaun scored both of their goals in the 1st half. Wilber Landaverde scored the Spartans lone goal with over 37 minutes to play. Coach Victor Ibarra was pleased with the second half.
The Spartans are now 11-4 for the season. They close out the regular season Tuesday night with a match at St. Marys Academy. The Spartans will be hosting a 1st round playoff match next Monday.
