The Emporia State soccer team scored only the 3rd goal of the season against #11 Central Oklahoma but came up a goal short in a 2-1 loss.
Central Oklahoma scored both of their goals in the first half. Makayla Brady would score the only goal for the Lady Hornets in the 76th minute of play. Emporia State was out shot 13-1 on goal.
The Lady Hornets are now 9-3-1 for the season and 4-2 in MIAA play. They are at Northeastern State Sunday.
