The Emporia High gymnastics team tuned up for state with a 1st place finish at Newton Monday.
The Lady Spartans picked up 4 first place finishes.
Haylee Weiss placed 1st on the Vault, Balance Beam and Floor Exercise. She also placed 3rd All-Around.
Hattie Walker placed 1st on the Uneven Bars.
The State Gymnastics meet will be held October 20th at Shawnee Mission South.
