One person had just minor injuries following a wreck on the Kansas Turnpike, approximately 24 miles southwest of the Emporia tollgate Sunday.
Shortly after 11 a.m., a southbound passenger car slid off the interstate near mile marker 103 and struck a barrier wall. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 77-year-old Peter Anderberg of Independence, Missouri sustained unspecified injuries, but was not transported.
Anderberg was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and no other injuries were reported.
