The Emporia High football team celebrated homecoming with an 63-0 win over Highland Park Friday night.
The Spartans scored on 7 straight possessions in the 1st half on the way to their 3rd win of the season.
Skyler Douglas scored on a 5 yard run and a 6 yard run to put the Spartans in front 14-0 after the first quarter.
Emporia scored 35 2nd quarter points. Gabe Galindo scored on a 1 yard and 4 yard run. Jace Stewart scored on a 24 yard run and threw a touchdown pass to Spencer Stewart. Colton Bieker added a 44 yard run. In the 3rd quarter sophomore quarterback Kadyn Williams scored on a 15 yard run and sophomore running back Keegan Lee scored on a 7 yard run. Coach Corby Milleson.
The Spartans are now 3-3 for the season they will host Topeka High next Friday.
