It’s week 6 of the High School football season, Emporia High hosts Highland Park and the Area Game of the Week on Country 101.7 has Lebo hosting Chase County.
Emporia High is 2-3 going into the game. Highland Park is 0-5. Emporia High Coach Corby Milleson says they cannot look at Highland Parks record.
Senior Broderick Stewart says they need to treat this like all the other games.
Senior Brayden Rethman says it is still about playing the right way.
Kick-off for the homecoming showdown is set for 7pm at Welch Stadium. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
The featured game on Country 101.7FM is a 8-Man Division 1 District 3 showdown with Lebo hosting Chase County. Kick-off is set for 7pm. Lebo is 1-1 in district play, Chase County 0-2. Chase County Coach Brody Vandegrift says they will need to play their best football.
Lebo Coach Brian Hadley says Chase County is still a dangerous team.
