A special concert Sunday will benefit a local charitable organization and area students.
Christian Contemporary singer Jason Gray will be holding a concert at 101 West Sixth in the Emporia Gazette Community room to benefit Handlebars of Hope. Proceeds from the concert will go towards providing 24 local students with new bicycles.
Event spokesperson Cheri Shaver explains how the event came together.
Handlebars of Hope is a bicycle outreach ministry designed to give hope to those in need, locally, and globally. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. tickets are available for $30 at High Gear Cyclery located at 520 Commerical Street.
