A federal trial has started for a Morris County man charged with downloading child pornography.
White City resident Wesley Wagner faces one count of receiving child porn and a separate count of possessing child porn. Court documents say the FBI seized a computer server belonging to the now-defunct website called Playpen, which gave users access to child porn. The FBI then used computer forensics to identify users, including the 54-year-old Wagner, and then search his home.
If convicted, Wagner faces anywhere from five to 20 years in federal prison for the charge of receiving child porn. He faces up to 10 years in the possession charge.
