Dense fog has apparently found a patch in and around Emporia.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says thick fog has settled across the area, with visibility at a quarter-mile at best and down to 50 yards at worst.
If you’re driving, slow down. Use your low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
