The Emporia State soccer team shutout Northwest Missouri State 3-0 Sunday.
All 3 goals were scored in the 2nd half. Tanna Benefiel scored on a penalty kick in the 77th minute of play. Aislin Hughes scored in the 82 minute of play. 29 seconds later Jacki Martinek scored. The Lady Hornets are now 7-2-1 and 2-1 in MIAA play. They will host Missouri Southern Friday.
