The National Teachers Hall of Fame is in the planning process for the Class of 2019 inductions, and part of that is a big event on KVOE’s airwaves in the not-too-distant future.
KVOE’s annual radio auction is now on the calendar Nov. 15. Board President Ken Weaver says Hall of Fame inductees are having a bigger presence over time through their donations to the auction.
Teachers Hall of Fame President Carol Strickland says the auction provides a good fundraising base for the upcoming induction ceremony.
Auction items are coming in, and the event organizers are looking for more potential auction items as well.
