Texas held on for a 19-14 win over Kansas State Saturday.
The Longhorns built a 19-0 lead by halftime. In the second half Kansas State responded with 7 yard touchdown run by quarterback Skylar Thompson and a 1 yard run by Alex Barns while the defense held Texas to 148 yards and no points in the game’s final 30 minutes. The Wildcats are now 2-3 for the season and 0-2 in the Big-12. Kansas State plays at Baylor next Saturday.
