The Emporia High gymnastics team finished in 3rd place at the Newton Invitational Saturday.
Individually Haylee Weiss placed 1st on the floor exercise, 2nd on the vault, 6th on the balance beam and 5th all-around. Cadance Vincent placed 4th on the vault. Lawrence finished in 1st place and Lawrence Free State finished in 2nd place.
