The search for a new director of the Emporia Granada Theatre continues to press forward.
Applications have been coming in since early September after the announcement that current director Bryan Williams would be stepping down at the end of September. Granada Theatre Alliance Board President Staci Hamman says while it’s no easy task finding a replacement, the entire process has been encouraging.
Hamman says she isn’t sure how quickly they will have someone in place but says they plan to split the director’s duties until the position is filled.
