Patrick Mahomes threw 3 more touchdown passes to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a 38-27 win over the San Francisco 49ers Sunday.
Kareem Hunt scored 2 rushing touchdowns to give the Chiefs a 14-0 lead. Mahomes connected with Chris Conley, Demetrius Harris and Sammy Watkins for touchdowns as the Chiefs built a 35-10 lead at halftime.
In the 2nd half Harrison Butker kicked a fieldgoal for the Chiefs only points. The 49ers would score two touchdowns in the 3rd quarter and added a 4th quarter fieldgoal. Chiefs Coach Andy Reid said it was a team effort.
Patrick Mahomes has thrown 13 touchdown passes in the first 3 games which is a new NFL record. The Chiefs play the Denver Broncos next Monday night.
